Horizontal Balers are designed to process large quantities of waste material. Ideally suited to production line processes. Throughputs vary from 1.5 to 2.5 tonnes per hour. All machines are 3 phase electric, weatherproof and have vandal proof options available.

Model: SR400H

The SR400H Horizontal Baler is suitable for a medium throughput of material, up to 1.5 tonne per hour. It is ideally suited for an industrial setting producing a high quantity of small bulk material.

With the press plate extending the whole way to the door, the SR400H will produce a very dense mill sized bale. The bale can be fully discharged from the chamber after tying, making it easy to switch between materials.

The vertical tie system makes this machine easy to use, quick to tie, and suitable to sit along a wall.

Model: SR450LH

The SR450HL Horizontal Baler has a throughput of 2 tonne per hour, making it suitable for factories or small waste processing units. It has a wide feed aperture for large bulk material up to 1400 x 1050mm. The SR450HL will produce a 450kg mill sized bale of cardboard.

Model: SR600H

The SR600H is the largest baler in our range, it provides a throughput up to 2.5 tonne per hour, and is ideal for waste processors and factories.

Features include a 50 tonne compaction force, a v-plate shear mechanism, magic eye start up, bale full indicator, and a 15KW motor running off a 3 phase power supply. Options include an 1100 litre bin lift, a second magic eye for a conveyor feed, and customer specific hopper design.

The horizontal tie system makes the SR600H suitable for plastic bottles and aluminium cans.

Special application
The Site Recycling Horizontal balers have proven to be very robust and realiable, capable of baling a wide range of material in various appliactions comfortably. The toughest test yet has been for the SR600H to bale reams of black polythene, used in the agricultural industry, with a SR600H. The machine was mounted on a low-load trailer and towed from site to site, producing 700kg bales for a farm co-op.
